Creative Movement and Ballet Fundamentals Michelle Davis ~ MVBT, Owner & Director email : mvbt@fuse.net The type of dance that is most appropriate for young children is referred to as creative dance or creative movement. This dance is based on natural movement. We cross train children with ballet, focusing on the creative movement philosophy to ensure bio-mechanic safety. This form of dance education is a constructive and productive way to use the entire body to stimulate learning and discover a new world of sensory awareness. Achieve stress reduction from today's busy lifestyles and improve your balance, muscle strength and flexibility through gentle movement. Movement for Stage Actors Susan Moser This class is designed to teach actors and performing artists the tools of creative processing to help prepare them for stage. The student will experience a variety of movement systems to enhance performance, such as Authentic Movement, Alexander Technique and Ruth Solomon Technique. Exercises in Improvisation and scene study will be presented to strengthen performance skills. Adults.
